Dr. Rich Pimpinella is a senior engineer and the team leader at Episensors. Dr. Pimpinella studied Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Notre Dame and graduated in 2013. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he worked as the lead scientist for MCT Focal Plane Array Testing and Infrared Research. Dr. Pimpinella currently leads the technical efforts at Episensors, with a specific focus on the development of low cost extended short wavelength infrared cameras.
